Heart of The Country

Heart Of The Country
By

&
John Ward

Are you a reader?

I hope so as this book begs to be read! It is one of the best books I have read in awhile and I just had to share it with you! It is one of those books that you do not want to put down. I love those kind!

Heart of the Country is told in multiple first person style. That can be confusing but not in this case. The various views makes the story richer and takes you deeper. The different views fill in the background and make you want to know the family.

At the heart of the story is Faith & Luke. They are from very different backgrounds and live in a fairy tale world. At the first sign of adversity their world shatters. Both are runners, but run in different directions.

Faith is unsure if she wants to save her marriage. Luke is positive he wants to save it but is unsure of how to do it. Both have to go into the past before they can go forward.

The story is told by:
Faith, the wife.
Luke, the husband.
Catherine, the dying mother.
Olivia, Faith's bitter sister.
Calvin, Faith's adoring father.
Luke's father and brother also play a large part of the story.

I wanted to sit and visit with each and every one. I hope you will too! The story started out as a screen play by John Ward. Converted into a beautiful book by Rene Gutteridge. I cannot wait to see More!
