<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As some of you know, I have blogged with a lot (well not a lot but a lot for me) writing prompts from Bonnie Gray. She gives a prompt for the following Thursday and we have all week long to think about it and write. We link up on Thursday and read each others to see what it touched it them. If is fun and yet at the same time... I have learned so much about myself and my Lord. You can join by clicking on the pretty image or clickin <a href="http://www.faithbarista.com/" target="_blank">HERE</a></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We are all very excited as she is launching a book on June 3rd!! You can find about it at the same place. This weeks prompt is connected to that and we will be talking about the book all June. She even has a giveaway! Gotta love those!</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>Today's Prompt ~ Share Your Whitespace Discoveries....</b></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I love talking to God and I know he hears me. Sometimes, if I am still enough, I can hear him! It often happens when I am waking up and a lot of times when I have turned off my light to sleep. This is pretty new to me. I don't think the delight will ever wear off.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here is where it gets a little hinky... when I go to the bathroom of all things, I rest. I have COPD and walking leaves me breathless sometimes. So I rest in my rest room before I make the treck back. </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
God has started talking to me in the bathroom. I did not understand why but I was pretty happy. I never planned on telling any one LOL! It did puzzle me somewhat though.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Boom it hit me! I discovered my 'other' whitespace'! God talks to me in the bathroom as it is one place where I do not have my nose in a screen! I am not on the computer and I don't have the mirrors set up so I can watch TV from there! </div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Since I realized that... I have cut back on computer and TV time. I had a little bit of help as I became ill for the first time in 3 years but hey... I need all the help I can get!</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So that is my whitespace discovery. I discovered that I have them and what they are... and that I need more.</div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I really hope that you will join us... you will learn a lot and meet other women just like You!!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Love,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Patty</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My blog has not yet become world famous. Which is ok. I don't do real well with attention. LOL! I have been a little sad (okay a lot sad) because my pocket has not become full with other people's needs so that I could pray for them. They are on Facebook asking for prayers. How do I know this? Because I am on Facebook instead of blogging. :-)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
God told me not to fret so I have really been feeling guilty when my mind runs away from me and starts lamenting. As soon as I realize what it is doing I make it behave and apologize to God. Again. I am pretty sure he understands. He is used to me. 58 years of mind wandering!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This morning God talked to me. He does that when I wake up and lay STILL and LISTEN instead of running for the bathroom or the fridge for a drink. I am so happy I listened this morning as he told me what I should do! Build a wall!!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Stop worrying and do. Kind of like that baseball field...they will come. So that is what I am going to be doing! As I read my friends posts and find a prayer request I am going to put them here on my wall. And post it everyday. As my health allows it.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
First names only.... I believe in privacy. I figure the more people praying for you... the better you will feel. I mean you will have to feel the LOVE no matter the results of the prayers. We will leave the results to God and not try to mess with that!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And as always,... you Can visit me... and read my wall. Or not. You can sign up to get an email once a day (or twice if there is an extreme emergency!) of my posts. If you sign up for the email you will be a prayer partner... I even built a form for it one day.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you don't want your prayer on my wall.... just let me know and I will take it down. But I figure... who doesn't want a prayer said. I should be pretty safe posting them. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And remember... God does love you no matter how dark it gets. And I love you too and I am praying for everyone!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Love, Patty</div>

To deserve even one of the pleasures I've known</div>

Lord, what did I ever do</div>

Try me, Lord, if You think there's a way</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I can try to repay all I've taken from You</div>

Maybe Lord, I can show someone else</div>

<div style="text-align: left;">
Last Fall I signed up for my first (in)courage group. If you have never been in one I encourage every one to get over there today as spots are filling up fast. There are many groups and you will find that you can fit into more than one! I got carried away and joined 3! Here is the list of groups!</div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Each 'subject' has one or more groups listed for you to join. I hope you find something that fits you! They try to keep each group to 30 and set up a group on face book so that we can care and share with each other. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Many times when the group ends? You have made some great friends. Our group stayed open until today when the new groups started forming. Please visit and see if there is something that grabs at your heart strings!</div>

Beloved ~<span class="Syn"> </span></h4>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn">dear, loved, valued, prized, dearest, sweet, admired, treasured, precious, darling, worshipped, adored, cherished, revered</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn">This is our writing prompt for this week. It is hard to write about something that you do not know. I do not feel loved (except by my children) let alone beloved. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn">I have been struggling with love all my life and feel that there is something very wrong with me. Why can't I feel love? </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn">My parents wanted a child. They prayed to have one for four years before God gave them me. I spent my childhood wondering why they prayed for a child and then treated me so hurtfully. Did God send the wrong child? Would a different child be a better fit? Mom never had another child so I did not find out from her.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn">Mom? She taught me love hurt. She raged, screamed and 'spanked' me with whatever she could get her hands on (because she wasn't going to hurt her hand!) </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn">Dad? Dad was not there. He was out drinking and trying to create brothers and sisters for me. He succeeded nicely. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn">Later on, my parents divorced and I moved out of mom's house. Dad was remarried with a blond haired, blue eyed perfect daughter and twin boys. Mom was having an affair with my (ex)boyfriend and I really was not needed at either place.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn">When I turned 16 my dad called, not to tell me happy birthday... but to tell me he had been put in jail for non support. He said he was going to court to get support reduced (from $150 a month) to $15 a week. He said, "Patty I have another family now. I have to take care of them." Thanks Dad!</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn">I could go on and on but I won't. I have forgiven my parents as I realize that they were this was as this was the way they were raised and did not know any better. Mom and I stayed very close (after she broke up with my boyfriend!) and Dad and I stayed in touch until he died but really... never close.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn">I have been married twice and felt both times that they were just with me until something better came along. Needless to say... something better came along and I am pretty happy, alone on my own.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn">Except I am not alone. God is with me and I strive everyday to feel his love. Not to be afraid of it. He will not hurt me. He will not leave me. He is steady and true. I just wish I could feel it.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span class="Syn"><br /></span></div>

<h4>
UPDATE</h4>
<div style="text-align: left;">
With more study... I realize I do feel God's love. A lot of times I just do not recognize it as such. I have got to open my eyes and ears and pay better attention. Still working on feeling loved by others...</div>

Bedtime Prayers that end with a hug (Share-a-Hug) <br />

<a href="http://tyndale.com/00_Home/index.php" target="_blank">Tyndale House Publishers</a> 2014, 168 pages, Hardcover Padded, $14.99</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Bedtime Prayers is written for ages 3 to 5 but can be read to all ages. I can think of no better way to introduce your little one to God and prayer!<br />
<br />
There are 52 different prayers. Each covers one of the many different issues that the little ones face in their day to day life. Being afraid of the dark, visiting the sick, obeying parents and a prayer about patience is just a small sample.<br />
<br />
Each night there is very short Bible verse, a cute little rhyme to help them remember, a snuggle time subject, bedtime Bible thought and a hug a bye prayer. All short so it keeps your little one engaged. Beautifully illustrated with things your child will love to look at over and over. Last but not least is the hug time!</div>

Tyndale House Publishers provided this book for an honest review. I did enjoy it! I am going to send it to Izzy (age 4). Mom and Dad can read it to her. Later on Izzy can read it to her baby sisters Sammi and Evee (age 4 months!) It will be a well read book enjoyed by many! I highly recommend it!</div>

<span style="background-color: #b6d7a8;">Happy New Year!</span></h2>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I have missed you so much but I had a lot on my mind.... and was too scatter brained to get anything done on either of my blogs. One thing that I did get done was choosing a word for this year. I thought and prayed on it for a few weeks. My One Word 365:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<h2 style="text-align: center;">
<span style="background-color: #b6d7a8;">Devote</span></h2>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I would like to devote myself to all things worthy. God, my family, my friends and my health. And being greedy I am going to play with that word and make it Devoted, Devotion and Devotional ;-) I hope that is legal.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Like I said... this had been on my mind a lot. When God gave this word to me it was like a light went on! It fits right in my life!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I have found that I have a hard time concentrating for long. This is new so I am pretty stumped. Bible studies just do not work for me. Without even realizing what I was doing I have started buying Daily Devotionals. I think I am up to at least four now! No matter where I sit down? There is a devotional to pick up and read! So much easier for me! </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
I have been wanting to read this one and just got it the other day! For FREE! I review books for Tyndale Publishing. I review their books and earn points. Then when I have enough points I get to turn them in for a book! Visit <a href="http://www.tyndaleblognetwork.com/" target="_blank">Tyndale Blog Network</a> and <a href="http://www.tyndalerewards.com/signup/?pc=kwgn-4u8o-e7ai-291i" target="_blank">Tyndale Rewards</a> I love the Psalms and it was with great JOY when I got to order it! :-)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Speaking of Devotionals and Reviews... I am soon going to be doing a review of this book and then sending it to my Granddaughter. Mom and Dad will have to read it to her this year but in the next few years she will be able to read it to her little twin sisters. So this book will get lots of use! It is adorable and awesome at the same time!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Oh my goodness! I just realized while typing the above I gave a devotional as a Christmas gift as well. My daughter~in~love is a dedicated runner. I picked this out for her so she would have something to think about while she runs hither and yon :-)</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1414348126/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=1414348126&linkCode=as2&tag=grasgarsal-20" target="_blank"><img alt="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1414348126/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=1414348126&linkCode=as2&tag=grasgarsal-20" border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHpYF8zcwKRnv04fNjgr9gQ9behiziM4GnYiWvM0qddFlWr_OefQKrSGKpX3CVa5fl7LlTj507Kj3aKwPAqkEeTB-XpgW6XPh2LWpO0L0BEwhkjEhJiRTVIQjPKy-XBYmN20PtuGuBhDGv/s1600/runners.jpg" height="320" width="213" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
It has places so you can keep track of how far you have ran and all sorts of things in it!<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
So you see.... I really meant it when I said I had started buying devotionals. And rest assured... they will be read. Over and over again. I never thought that being devoted would mean so very much to me.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

What is your OneWord365??</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
4 little letters.<br />
(You have to watch those 4 letter words!)<br />
<br />
I can help YOU!<br />
<br />
Being a mom was so fulfilling! <br />
I got to help my children, <i> </i><br />
<i>everyday</i>,<br />
and it rocked my world.<br />
help helping helped... <br />
<br />
My (now ex) husband had 7 knee surgeries and I helped him.<br />
Months into years...<br />
help helping helped...<br />
<br />
I went to work... Loved the job!<br />
I got to help people with 'issues'.<br />
What a cool word! I am an issue fixer... <br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
"Hi! My name is Patty! How can I help you today?" </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
help helping helped...</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Makes you feel wanted, needed and valued.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Gives you a feeling of self worth.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
help helping helped... </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Kids grew.<br />
Husband left.<br />
I got COPD.<br />
(watch those 4 letter words!)<br />
<br />
Kids did not need my help.<br />
Husband no longer wanted my help.<br />
Trouble breathing, can't work, can't help.<br />
No more help helping helped.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Now I am the one that needs help. At first I would do without instead of asking for it. I am the helper. How can the helper need help? Isn't that kind of wrong??</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My health has gradually gotten worse. It has been 13 years now and it is still a struggle for me to ask for help. I lost 60 pounds before I asked for help with my every other day health care visits. And now that I have them? They are such a blessing.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
God is teaching me that it is okay to ask for help. People cannot read my mind and know what I need. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If it blessed me to be able to help others... why am I stingy, not allowing them to be blessed? </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDLrTTxXZdXc_IEjNI2s7NM4qbcq1JYOEmjVvPGATQ1zZVCyBE74ROy6-tXS5zcd64pcEiZVbN2WABAhGQ3XeKKxrbxABDBt-jtgl6MxTpr7vlv3jqrB9C_w7Oxlr09mazJJqjKRTg3Cwt/s1600/Asking-for-Help.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDLrTTxXZdXc_IEjNI2s7NM4qbcq1JYOEmjVvPGATQ1zZVCyBE74ROy6-tXS5zcd64pcEiZVbN2WABAhGQ3XeKKxrbxABDBt-jtgl6MxTpr7vlv3jqrB9C_w7Oxlr09mazJJqjKRTg3Cwt/s1600/Asking-for-Help.png" height="107" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
I am learning that asking for help is a blessing to both parties! My MaryBeth feels great as she does a wonderful job and I always let her know what it means to me. She goes above and beyond... making me feel special. We have become great friends. It is not easy but it is getting better. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Am I learning? I actually picked up the phone the other day and called a neighbor for help. It amazed me! She was not home and I ended up working on it myself... but... I was going to ask!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Helped Helped Helped<br />
and I survived. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

It just takes a couple of seconds out of your busy day. <br />

But these people do not have a home to decorate...</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
How it works:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span class="userContent"><br /> At Works of Faith, we believe in the
power of ONE (that’s you!) and the power of MANY. We care, and we know
you do, too! So with our charitable partner, GreaterGood.org, we have
come up wi<span class="text_exposed_show">th a unique way to empower each visitor to Works of Faith to make a difference with one simple action: a click!<br /> <br />
A mouse-click on our “Give Now” button is the same as a “Give”. One
Give per person, per day will be counted towards a project goal. When we
reach our goal, Works of Faith will fund the project and launch a NEW
project for everyone to fund. It’s that simple! This is made possible by
you (the user), our wonderful sponsors (site advertisers) and our
dynamic non-profit partner GreaterGood.org. With these elements
combined, we’re able to put your faith to work for the benefit of the
Greater Good!<br /> How we count your daily Gives<br /> <br /> One “Give” is
counted per calendar day, per unique person (based on PST time zone).
Works of Faith has tracking software that gives us visibility into our
visitor traffic, thus allowing us to ensure that each person’s daily
Give is accounted for. Please bookmark us and subscribe to our Reminder
Emails so you can come back and click every day!</span></span></div>

Heart Of The Country<br />By<br />
Rene Gutteridge<br />&<br />
John Ward<br />
<br />
Are you a reader?</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope so as this book begs to be read! It is one of the best books I have read in awhile and I just had to share it with you! It is one of those books that you do not want to put down. I love those kind!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Heart of the Country is told in multiple first person style. That can be confusing but not in this case. The various views makes the story richer and takes you deeper. The different views fill in the background and make you want to know the family.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
At the heart of the story is Faith & Luke. They are from very different backgrounds and live in a fairy tale world. At the first sign of adversity their world shatters. Both are runners, but run in different directions. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Faith is unsure if she wants to save her marriage. Luke is positive he wants to save it but is unsure of how to do it. Both have to go into the past before they can go forward.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The story is told by:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Faith, the wife. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Luke, the husband. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Catherine, the dying mother. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Olivia, Faith's bitter sister. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Calvin, Faith's adoring father.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Luke's father and brother also play a large part of the story. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I wanted to sit and visit with each and every one. I hope you will too! The story started out as a screen play by John Ward. Converted into a beautiful book by Rene Gutteridge. I cannot wait to see More!</div>

Striving and enjoying it... </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Please God let me be what I need to be, what I want to be, what others need for me to be.</div>
<br />
Galatians 5:22-23<br />
<br />
22 But the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] is love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness,<br />
<br />
23 Gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [[a]that can bring a charge].<br />
<br />
And...<br />
<br />
Colossians 3:12-14<br />
<br />
12 Clothe yourselves therefore, as God’s own chosen ones (His own picked representatives), [who are] purified and holy and well-beloved [by God Himself, by putting on behavior marked by] tenderhearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, a lowly opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, [and] patience [which is tireless and long-suffering, and has the power to endure whatever comes, with good temper].<br />
<br />
13 Be gentle and forbearing with one another and, if one has a difference (a grievance or complaint) against another, readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must you also [forgive].<br />
<br />
14 And above all these [put on] love and enfold yourselves with the bond of perfectness [which binds everything together completely in ideal harmony].<br />
<br />
Amplified Bible (AMP)<br />
<br />
In Jesus name,<br />
Amen<br />

<h4>
Do YOU have a book in you?</h4>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I am affiliated with many different companies. That means when someone is on my site and clicks on a link and buys something? I make pennies on the dollar. (Please note: I do not get rich. I have yet to get a check but it keeps me busy LOL!*) My very favorite is helping people save money and I have a <a href="http://shoppingconsultantextraordinaire.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">blog</a> for that. I seldom ever bring it to this blog (Matthew 21:12 ~ And Jesus went into the temple (whole temple enclosure) and drove out all who bought and sold in the sacred place, and He turned over the four-footed tables of the money changers and the chairs of those who sold doves.) but today is an exception. I pray Jesus understands.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
I have found a place online that helps you self publish... books, photo books, ebooks and even Your Blog! It can take your posts from your blogs to make it into a book. I am amazed. And there are so many of you out there... that HELP people with their blogs. The Chicken Soup for the Soul is just an example of what you can do. I thought they were cute!<br />
<br />
What about a cookbook? A child's book? So MANY ideas!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I am not going to go in depth as I don't know enough to explain things. I just know they can help you make many types of books, print them and help you sell them even! Please have a look and see if they can help you. You will be amazed!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
They also have a store where you can buy other people's books and you may find Christmas Gifts there!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope you enjoy this site as much as I did!<br />
<br />
Love,<br />
Patty</div>

* I will get a check next month. My very first! I may have to frame it! Actually I am going to buy a hospital table to use my laptop on so I can bug you 24/7 :-)</div>

Joined & Blessed</h4>
<h4 style="text-align: center;">
</h4>
I am not a joiner. I do not 'do' join. I once was programed to join but life erased my hard drive and then uploaded solitary. It is very hard to sit here, every day and reprogram myself. I am not a programer. God is doing it in His own way and in His own time.<br />
<br />
God knows I desire to join in.<br />
<br />
To put or bring into close association or relationship<br />
<br />
To connect<br />
<br />
To meet and merge with<br />
<br />
To become a part or member of<br />
<br />
To come into the company of<br />
<br />
To participate with in an act or activity <br />
<br />
I take innocent ideas and create monsters. I take up blogging (again). And judge myself to be lacking.<br />
<br />
Join others who blog and see their beautiful words and blogs. And judge myself to be lacking.<br />
<br />
And I join. Everything. To become BETTER.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikqk1DdEDB8NckYD9LjU9Fcgk-kAI26Z0gAD98A7AnSpZfuwiKSsNWSrd8KevK0u9RP72OXTOOVB7YLr7cch3SbdqGwtr1MnaYNVG1qvIE5XJi8TD68GlE7G6oRHE2BgGvPhRZgGoMNJa2/s1600/join.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikqk1DdEDB8NckYD9LjU9Fcgk-kAI26Z0gAD98A7AnSpZfuwiKSsNWSrd8KevK0u9RP72OXTOOVB7YLr7cch3SbdqGwtr1MnaYNVG1qvIE5XJi8TD68GlE7G6oRHE2BgGvPhRZgGoMNJa2/s1600/join.jpg" height="272" width="400" /></a></div>
Join, compare, judge.<br />
<br />
And God teaches me that I am joining in too many things so I can get overloaded and lay in bed depressed, therefore not doing anything at all. Alone again, naturally.<br />
<br />
And God reminds me that I am just as a child, starting out, not expect to be perfect. Because there is no perfection besides Him. Just be me and enjoy that. Be wacky if wacky is what my spirit needs.<br />
<br />
And I quit joining. And just do what I 'feel' needs to be done.<br />
<br />
I had planned to skip this Thursday. This prompt. All I could think of was my Thanksgiving would be so different than what most people have. But my heart wanted to join in. So I read Bonnie's post. She was not asking for my Thanksgiving. She was asking about my giving Thanks.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Even though my journey is not exactly like others, God blesses me everyday and shows me I have something in common with most. I no longer want to be like others. I am learning to be happy in my own skin. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My posts may not be filled with quotes from the Bible.... but the verses run though my head and heart if I am blogging or not. All day long... and I am blessed. I can be cooking, playing with my Peanut (my beloved Chihuahua companion that gives me unconditional love, just like God) or even playing a game on my Kindle and the Bible, God's words, flow all around me. </div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
Be Yourself...<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have been many things.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1956 ~ Born to Sidney and Fay Stoner. Dad and Mom' daughter. Newborn</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Dad loved me BUT he was an pretty much absent alcoholic adulteress who I sometimes saw on Sundays when the bars were closed. Mom loved me BUT she honestly did not know how. She was a fanatic ~ a combo of religion, cleaning and control. Ridged control. Emotionally and physically abusive. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
(We once were leaving the laundromat while traveling. Mom snapped her fingers as she had forgotten our extra hangers. I immediately stopped and stood at attention. She looked ashamed and said, "My God, what have I done to you?" And then forgot and reverted.)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1968 ~ Dad leaves Mom and I become Fay's daughter. Age 12</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Dad had started a family with someone else and needed to go complete that one. I gave my mom Father's Day cards as I was thankful she was both to me.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
1974 ~ Married Randy and became a mom. Randy Sr.'s wife. Randy Jr.'s mom. Age 18</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Yes it was that kind of marriage. Randy and I did not want to get married. We wanted to wait a couple of years. Our moms had a fit so we got married. I was subservient for 18 years and fell right into it with Randy. He thought that was cool!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Randy joined the Navy, was unfaithful and was gone 6 to 9 months of the year. I could live with that. I just wanted 3 kids to keep me occupied. Randy decided one was enough. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1977 ~ I divorced Randy. Still Randy's mom. Age 21</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We were divorced about the time that we had wanted to make the decision to marry or not if we had been left alone. All of that heartache... Mom later said that telling me to marry Randy was the worst thing that she had done to me. I still haven't decided. LOL!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I decided to never marry. To be my own boss. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1978 ~ Mary was born. I became Mary's mom (I still adore this 'job'!) She was born on my 22nd birthday. Age 22</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1980 ~ Kevin was born. I became Kevin's mom. (Ditto on adoring the job!) Age 24</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1981 ~ Met and married Gary. Became Gary's wife. Age 25</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I was horrified to discover I had married my mother! Gary was pretty much just like her. I really withdrew into myself. No family, besides my children. No friends unless I wanted to report, verbatim, as to what was said when he was not right by my side. No life.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I tried to be perfect for him. It never was enough. I starved myself to stay slender. That was stupidity. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Mom came to live with us for about 6 months in 1986 and again in 1988. I was a ping pong ball. Do it Gary's way or do it Mom's way? Do I ever get a say? By that time Randy was living with his dad so I was Gary's wife, Mary and Kevin's Mom and Fay's daughter. I was wore out. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1990 ~ Mom passed.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1996 ~ Mary graduated.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
1999 ~ Kevin graduated.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
2000 ~ Gary moved on to greener pastures. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I went into shock. It has been 13 years. I do not date. I am just learning how to live. Really live. I am still erasing rules that I lived life long. I still catch myself automatically following them. STOP. You do not have to do it that way anymore. You can do your way.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And yet? I have discovered that my way is not the best way. I need God. I want to be God's daughter. I want to obey him. I want to be close with him and saturate myself with his love. He amazes and surprises me daily. He delights me. I pray that I delight him and then giggle. God is delighted with me as he created me.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This is not to be a pity party. Mom loved me the only way that she knew how (you should hear about how she was raised!!) Gary and I had happy times. My kids are a gift from God and they are the most awesome humans in my world. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I am still learning how to be myself. I may never ever make it fully but at least now I have a choice. And I choose God.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Love,</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Patty </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
One of my (too) many goals with this blog is to write from my heart and have Bible verses to back it up. I have been using verses from a beloved book, Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. And I do love that book and I do enjoy having it and using it. But I am parroting her, not coming up with my own. I want to be a big girl Christian blogger! Today I woke up with this in my heart and 2 Bible verses bouncing around in my head. I hope I can remember them :-) And... what a subject! TURKEY! LOL!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The first verse is above on the pretty banners I found at Crosscards. I had hoped to use them in this way! Please be sure to read the note at the bottom so you will be blessed abundantly! Just click on the banner to visit!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart! Psalms 37:4 He really and truly does! I have found... the Lord does it more often than we think and we just do not recognize it. By spending more time with Him you will start to recognize it more and more!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Yesterday was Wednesday and I have a hard time blogging on Wednesday. It is hard to get anything done because I get interrupted. :-) My MaryBeth comes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to help me with anything and everything. Monday and Friday are her quick visits of just an hour and I can usually stop what I am doing and then resume when she leaves. Wednesday? Not so much. She is here for 2 1/2 hours, I talk non~stop, we laugh, we enjoy and we share. I lose my train of thought and many times have not been able to finish what I have started. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Yesterday was grocery shopping day so I had my list made up and she was good to go. It is like Christmas morning when she gets back. Even though I was the one who made the list and checked it twice! All sorts of good things and snacks for the month. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I had Turkey Legs (about 4 but 3 or 5 will do) on my list. I put it on the list that way as we never know how they will be packaged. I had just cooked the ones in the freezer and thought I had better have some on hand for the next time I was craving it. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
As I wrote that down my mind wandered back to the Thanksgivings when I was raising Mary and Kevin and I said to myself, I wish I could cook a Thanksgiving meal for my babies just one more time. I miss cooking a turkey. I and Peanut would never make our way though one!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
MaryBeth shopped, the pharmacy stopped by with my months medications and Cory, the maintenance man stopped by to test the smoke alarms. Very busy day. Poor Peanut passed out from all the barking excitement!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Last night I thought I had better check the cash register tape to see what to deduct from my bank funds. And found a surprise! 4 packs of (4) turkey legs. At first I thought maybe the cashier had hiccups ~ but there was different prices. I gasped and went to the freezer. LOL! 16 Turkey Legs!! I am still laughing as I type this!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I texted MaryBeth to let her know that we got our wires crossed. And then I said that I now had something to put in everyone's stockings! She said at least she knew what she was getting for Christmas! I am sure we will talk more turkey tomorrow when she is here. As I have something to share.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When I was waiting for sleep to come last night I thought... God knew what my heart desired. He gave me a 10 pound turkey. Packed up in packages that Peanut and I can manage. He blessed me. And gave me a story to share with my children and you.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Matthew 7:7~8</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I desired, God sent MaryBeth to my door and I have the turkey to prove it :-) And it is my favorite kind! The drumstick!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Please share this with someone that you love. Pass it on. If you have a prayer request you know what to do. If you would like to pray with us, we can do that too!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
I love you!</div>

*Crossroads Cards has a lot of beautiful things. You can send ecards, you can get wallpaper for your monitor, facebook covers and they have newsletters & gift shop. This note is to let you know... when you go to look at the facebook banners you will not see a huge amount. BUT if you click on one and then keep hitting next? You will see tons of them! I collected a lot for my blog, a newsletter I am thinking about and I just might possibly use it as they were meant to be on facebook. LOL! I love pretty things! </div>

<br />
Well I must say it has been some time... I have been gone from my blog again but my family and friends have been on my mind. I just was not satisfied with what I was doing. I was not doing <i>enough. </i><br />
<br />
I know I kept saying that I was frazzled from signing up to do too many things. I was searching for something without even knowing it.<br />
<br />
I started this blog to learn more about God AND more about talking to him... with prayer. I keep running into 1 Thessalonians 5:17 <span class="versetext" id="1th5-17" style="display: inline;"><span class="strongs">Pray</span> without <span class="strongs">ceasing. God cannot be any blunter than that! :-) And I do try to talk to him all the time. (Never realized how much a mind could wander so it is a job working on that!)</span></span><br />
<span class="versetext" id="1th5-17" style="display: inline;"><span class="strongs"><br /></span></span>
<span class="versetext" id="1th5-17" style="display: inline;"><span class="strongs">But basically I ended up just sitting here praying for myself and the few who ask for it on facebook. I felt pretty self~centered to tell you the truth! </span></span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<b><span class="versetext" id="1th5-17" style="display: inline;"><span class="strongs">So...</span></span></b></div>
<span class="versetext" id="1th5-17" style="display: inline;"><span class="strongs"><br /></span></span>
<span class="versetext" id="1th5-17" style="display: inline;"><span class="strongs">1. I am unhappy with my blogging. 2. I want to pray more. 3. I delight in helping others and I would love to be more delightful. Duh! I am so slow sometimes! A prayer (A WHOLE pocket full of them!) website. :-) Cool Beans God!! Thank you so very very much!</span></span><br />
<span class="versetext" id="1th5-17" style="display: inline;"><span class="strongs"><br /></span></span>
<span class="versetext" id="1th5-17" style="display: inline;"><span class="strongs">And I want to share! You can join in and pray too!</span></span><br />

Verses from my Devotional <br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
My Humble View~</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">For we are God's</span> (the perfect and all-powerful spirit or being that is worshiped
especially by Christians, Jews, and Muslims as the one who created and
rules the universe) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">workmanship</span> (the quality of the work that is done by someone), <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">created in Christ Jesus</span> (the man who Christians believe is the son of God and whose life, death,
and resurrection as reported in the New Testament of the Bible are the
basis of the Christian religion*) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do</span>.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
We should begin our day with God. (and take him with us throughout the day and end the day with him too!) But starting the day with him is important. It gets you in the right frame of mind to greet the day and prepares you for your day. You will grow closer with him and reach for him and rejoice in him! Let God prepare you for your day ahead and you cannot go wrong!</div>

<span style="background-color: #f4cccc;">Week 1 Monday ~ Magnify the Lord</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We are to read <span style="background-color: #ffe599;"><a href="http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=psalms%2069:1-36&version=NIV" target="_blank">Psalms 69:1-36 (click!)</a></span></div>

<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">Psalms 69:30</span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">Me</span> ~</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Holly talks of the first Thanksgiving in the US. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It must have been a horrendous life! From 16 married woman... down to just 4 in the first winter. Can you imagine losing 12 of your friends. Would you or could you still be thankful? They just were not prepared for the winter and it took it's toll.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The following Fall they did give thanks. God had watched over them and had sent the Indians to teach them how to survive the harsh winters. With God's grace they were ready and had a feast to give thanks and praise him! Without God I don't think they would have survived the second Winter. I honestly don't!</div>

<span style="background-color: #f4cccc;">Week 1 Tuesday ~ Praising In the Pain</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We are to read: <span style="background-color: #ffe599;"><a href="http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Philippians%204:1-7&version=NIV" target="_blank">Philippians 4:1-7</a></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
And our verse is:</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">Philippians 4:6</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My Humble View~</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">Do not be anxious</span> (afraid or nervous especially about what may happen) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">about anything, but in every situation</span> (an important or sudden problem), <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">by prayer</span> (words spoken to God especially in order to give thanks or to ask for something) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">and petition</span> (a prayer or request to God), <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">with thanksgiving</span> (a prayer that expresses thanks to God), <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">present your requests</span> (an act of politely or formally asking for something) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">to God</span>. </div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">Me</span> ~</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
One of my favorite verses in the Bible as God has been showing it to me over and over. My name is Patty A Muich and I think the A is for anxious. God is teaching me that my being anxious is a waste of time and pretty hard on the body. I cannot do anything without him so I should just give it to God and relax.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Today Holly talked about a guy I had never heard of. George Mueller. I am glad that she told me about him because he had great faith. He was married twice. When he lost his first wife he thanked God for taking her home.</div>
<br />
<br />
You can read some of his story <a href="http://www.christianity.com/church/church-history/church-history-for-kids/george-mueller-orphanages-built-by-prayer-11634869.html" target="_blank">here</a>. You will see that he believed in God, had no doubts whatsoever that God would provide. And you know... God did!<br />

I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For He has clothed me with garmets of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and a bride adorns herself with jewels. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My Humble View~</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">I delight</span> (something that makes you very happy <b>~</b> something that gives you great pleasure or satisfaction) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">greatly</span> (to a great extent or degree <b>~</b> very much) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">in the Lord; my soul</span> (the spiritual part of a person that is believed to give life to the body and in many religions is believed to live forever) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">rejoices</span> (to feel or show that you are very happy about something) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">in my God</span>. <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">For He has clothed </span>(wearing clothes ~ covered <span class="it">in</span> something) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">me with garments</span> (a piece of clothing) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">of salvation</span> (the act of saving someone from sin or evil <b>:</b> the state of being saved from sin or evil) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">and arrayed</span> (to place (a group of things) in a particular position so that they are in order or so that they look attractive — <span class="un">usually used as <span class="it">(be) arrayed) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">me in a robe of righteousness</span> (</span></span>morally good <b>:</b> following religious or moral laws), <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">as a bridegroom adorns</span> (decorates) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">his head like a priest</span> (a person who has the authority to lead or perform ceremonies) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">and as a bride adorns herself with jewels</span>. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">Ephesians 1:7-8</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
In Him we have redemption though His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My Humble View~</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">In him we have redemption</span> (the act of saving people from sin and evil) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">through his blood, the forgiveness of sins</span> (an action that is considered to be wrong according to religious or moral law ~ very guilty/miserable/ugly) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">in accordance</span> (in a way that agrees with or follows ~ something, such as a rule or request) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">with the riches</span> (large amounts ~ good things that are available to use or choose) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">of God's grace</span> (help or kindness that God gives or shows to people) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">that He lavished</span> (large amount of something to someone) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">on us with all wisdom</span> (the natural ability to understand things that most other people cannot understand) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">and understanding</span> (the knowledge and ability to judge a particular situation or subject ~ a willingness to understand people's behavior and forgive them).</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">Romans 5:5</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My Humble View~</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">And hope</span> (to want something to happen or be true and think that it could happen or be true) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">does not disappoint</span> (to make (someone) unhappy by not being as good as expected or by not doing something that was hoped for or expected) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">us, because God has poured</span> (to flow in a steady stream from or into a container or place) <span style="background-color: #ffd966;">out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit</span> (God in the form of a spirit), <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">whom he has given us</span>. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">Me: </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Life is not fair. Never has been. Never will be. It sets my teeth (or dentures!) on edge to hear someone lament, "That is NOT FAIR!" It makes me think of that song, "I Never Promised You a Rose Garden". No one, especially God, has ever promised us that life would be fair.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
But He is there, waiting for us to come to Him, when life is unfair. He wants us to learn to turn the other cheek. He wants us to forgive. Can't forgive? Ask God to forgive them through you. It is always nice having Him help us when we are unable to do something (yet). Any time the situation creeps back into your mind, call on God to help you forgive.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
God loves you, He takes care of you. He does make promises to you. And KEEPS them! Do we deserve that? No... we are sinners and it is not fair of us to expect it. His love, His care and His promises are our gift from Him. Rejoice, spend time with Him and learn is grace. You will be even more blessed by Him :-)</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
* Before I end for the day I have to tell you about something that my daughter and I share. My grandson was born in August. The following August we wanted to take him to his first Logan Co. Fair. We were all excited! We could not wait to see his little face as he took it all in!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
When we got to the fairgrounds, it was empty. My daughter had read the dates wrong. She wailed, "Well that is not FAIR!" I laughed so hard. We attended the No Fair Fair that year! We ended up taking Alex to the park and had a fun afternoon anyway. And the following Saturday he went to the real fair.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Since that time, my goodness he is 14 now! It comes up now and then. When something does not work out as we thought it would we always say... lets go to the Not Fair Fair. Happy Memories!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Love to you and yours,</div>

Good Morning!! God's word and teachings and knowledge is coming at me fast and furious today! And I am loving every second of it! I love it when I am able to be still... and listen to what He is telling me! So many times I have 4011 things swirling around in my head. God cannot be heard over my chatter! I am so swollen with happiness I feel as if I could pop. I want so much to have you feel it too! I am happy for Stella... but Patty's got her groove on too! Let's praise God!!<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
(Some of the...) Verses I am studying today:</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">Psalm 139:23-24</span> </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My Humble View~</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">Search</span> (<span class="ssens">to look through or explore by inspecting possible places of concealment or investigating suspicious circumstances) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">me, O God</span> (</span>the perfect and all-powerful spirit or being that is worshiped
especially by Christians, Jews, and Muslims as the one who created and
rules the universe), <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">and know my heart; test</span> (<span class="ssens">examination, observation, or evaluation) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">and know of my anxious</span> (</span>afraid or nervous especially about what may happen) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">thoughts</span> (an idea, plan, opinion, picture, etc., that is formed in <u><i><b>your</b></i></u> mind). <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">See if there is any offensive</span> (causing someone to feel hurt, angry, or upset) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting</span> (<span class="ssens">lasting or enduring through all time ~ eternal ~ </span>having no beginning and no end in time : lasting forever).</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffd966;">1 Peter 5:6</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My Humble View~</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">Humble</span> (showing that you do not think of yourself as better than other people) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">yourselves, therefore </span>(for that reason <b>:</b> because of that), <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">under God's</span> (the perfect and all-powerful spirit or being that is worshiped) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">mighty</span> (having or showing great strength or power) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">hand</span>.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">Job 1:21</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
And he said: "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My Humble View~</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">And he said: "The Lord</span> (<span class="un">used as a name for God or Jesus) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">gave</span> (</span><span class="un">allowed someone to have), <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">and the Lord has taken</span> (removed what was given) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">away; blessed</span> (</span>having a sacred nature ~ holy ~ morally good) <span style="background-color: #ffe599;">be the name of the Lord</span>.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">Me</span>: :-) </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">The Past</span>: I am a stuffer. When something is wrong? I stuff it inside, I try to 'fix' it (isn't that laughable?) <i>and</i> I am ashamed of it, if the truth be known. If I was better it would not have happened. Right! I did not want God to see it even though, I knew in my heart, he knew.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">The Last Few Decades</span>: So.... I pray about it. Over and over and over. I bet that drove God nuts but thankfully he knows me and knows I was trying. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">The Recently</span>: Then he taught me that asking for the same thing over and over was a sign of non belief. Uh-oh! Just the opposite of what I was trying to PROVE to God. That I was turning my troubles over to him. BUT God is not deaf. You do not have to repeat yourself. </div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Now what do I do?? How do I break the habit of asking for help and for forgiveness for the same things day after day? I have issues controlling my thoughts. Bet you do too. My mind takes off, I stumble across something disagreeable.... and start to pray. Alarms go off! Warning Warning!! OH MAN!!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="background-color: #ffe599;">Today</span>: God points my nose in this direction... He knows my nose is usually in my monitor so He just puts it in front of me there!</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
1. <a href="http://shrsl.com/?~4dhm" target="_blank">(in)courage</a> email ~ about today's <a href="http://www.incourage.me/channel/blog" target="_blank">blog</a> post:</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<a href="http://mabelandriv.com/2013/10/21/on-being-impatient-for-healing/" target="_blank">On being impatient for healing</a> by <a href="http://mabelandriv.com/about-me/" target="_blank">Arianne Segerman</a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
and I hear God through her that it is okay to discuss it with him! Ask Him and then <i>thank</i> Him instead of asking him again! Isn't that what we are taught when we are little??<br />
<br />
For instance if you ask some one for homemade cookies they just don't pop into their hands to give to you. They have to gather the ingredients, measure out the right amount of everything, mix it all up and then you wait while they bake. God is making cookies in me and I am going to be patient and thankful. Oh so thankful!<br />
<br />
2. Then I popped into my (in)courage Fall group and discovered that we are today's devotional from <a href="http://pocketfullofprayers.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html" target="_blank">Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. </a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
That is what the Bible verses are above. Her message (to me) was about being with Jesus, have him in your life, be WITH him. Then when something comes up that you would normally stuff? Don't! Talk to him instead. Do not be rebellious, do not be resentful and do not be petty. Praise Him! Remember he gives us gifts and takes things away. When they go? Thank him for the time that you were allowed to have them and then go on (with Him by your side!)<br />
<br />
3. I know as I go about my day He will show this message to me again. Because, unlike Him, I do need repetition!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I added a page this weekend. My Wanderings :-) I will note when it has been updated. It has been updated and noted :-)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I can then just pop my blog open and add it to the page and be quick as a wink about it. Because I love to share and I love you!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Have a great Monday!!</div>
